Classic Dollhouse Inspires a Generation

The Fisher Price Play Family House (circa 1969) was THE dollhouse for young children from a different generation to have. It also may have been the very inspiration for those children becoming involved in the miniatures world as adults. The house was occupied by the Little People Family and arrived with a number of pieces of colorful plastic miniature furniture, most of which had slots to hold the Fishers safely in place. The family members almost always rolled clumsily off the beds which did not unfortunately have slots to hold the Little People in place.
