Decorating An Extraordinary House

Nybelwyck Hall at the Hudson River Museum

We were thrilled to do the fall decorations at Nybelwyck Hall, the extraordinary 26 room mini mansion on permanent view at The Hudson River Museum in Yonkers, New York.

We adorned the front entrance with one large wreath above the door and surrounded it with a garland of fall leaves in golden shades of red, yellow and bright orange. Smaller wreaths created by Tina L. Paris accent the coach lamps.

A wooden sign with a welcome message by Erika Pitera (the Petite Provision Company) hangs on the front door to greet guests.

May Burnett (Custom Fairy Wings) created the lighted jack-o-lantern to complete the front entrance decor.

Pumpkins, potted corn stalks and bowls of trick-or-treat candy by Carol Ellingson (My Tiny Nest Miniatures) complete a Halloween Night celebration.

L. Delaney Skull

We placed a number of fun and spooky miniatures to set the scene for the Halloween Night celebration including skulls by L. Delaney.

Ouija Board by Deb Mackie White Horse Studios

Deb Mackie (White Horse Studios) made the Ouija Board placed in the (reportedly) haunted third floor attic.

Assortment of tiny magical treasures including a spell book, magic wand and candle by Amanda Kelly (Panda Miniatures) have been placed throughout the second floor bedrooms. A tiny mouse by Wendy Smale sneaks about.

Centerpiece by Tina Paris

An awesome pumpkin centerpiece by Tina L. Paris takes center stage on the dining room table on the first floor.

We had a blast decorating this house for the Fall and extend a big thanks to the talented miniaturists who contributed their wonderful work!
