D. Thomas Miniatures at the Westchester County Dollhouse & Miniatures Show!

Join me for a MEET UP at the Westchester Dollhouse and Miniature Show on Saturday, December 6 from 10am to 4pm in White Plains, New York! I'll have a table at the event, so come by to chat, get advice and to see a boutique range of artisan treasures by Ferd Sobol I'll have on display for purchase!

I'll also be hosting talks at my table on various topics including How to Build an Awesome Miniatures Collection (11am), How to Sell Your Adored Collection (1pm) and How to Spot a Really Fine Miniature (3pm). These will be informal chats so feel free to come with questions or bring show and tell!

My dear minifriend May Burnett will be my booth buddy...It has been a long time since there has been a miniature event like this in the New York City area and I'm happy that Rosemarie Sandground from Dollhouse Revivals decided to sponsor and host the event! Dollhouse miniatures is a very social hobby and there's nothing better than getting like-minded folks together in a room to talk about what they love and buy a few things!

Miniature Carriages, Sleighs and More in Small Scale...Stay Tuned for Auction Info!

I connected with a collector looking to downsize several horse-drawn carriages, sleighs and a high wheel bike in 1:12 scale...these are artisan crafted but unsigned so we don't know the maker. These are made of metal, some with tufted leather benches (#swoon), spoked wheels with rubber and real suspensions for a smooth mini ride...stay tuned as I prepare these pieces for auction while I hope this will ignite creativity!

Audrey Bagby (1939-2025) was California dollhouse miniatures enthusiast and fine art miniatures collector who was active in the miniatures community, mostly throughout the 1970s through the 90s, during what is considered "the Golden Age" of miniatures. She was particularly active in NAME, the National Association of Miniature Enthusiast where she attended shows and took classes, learning to craft work in small scale. She is remembered as a spirited and elegant soul of the West Coast miniatures world who poured her energy into the community for more than 4 decades.

Audrey amassed a vast collection of unique and interesting fine art miniature treasures, and I'm thrilled to be ushering her curated assortment into new hands where they will be as adored as they were when they were in her hands.
