There’s an abundance of miniature holiday goodness and magic in Nybelwyck Hall, the 26-room mini manse at the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers, New York!

New York City area folks and visitors from all over are encouraged to visit the HRM.org and spend some time with this wonderful creation of Mark O’Banks on permanent view in The Glenwood, the historic Victorian Mansion located on the museum campus. Here are the highlights of the decorations for the 2019 season:

Nybelwyck Hall Christmas Entrance

The exterior holiday décor features a large della robbia wreath (fruits by Sharon Harbison) with trailing garland that leads to potted topiary adorned with gold glittered balls on each side of main entrance.

Kraig Concell Creative Eye Miniatures

A pair of expertly-crafted poinsettias in ornate urns by Kraig Councell (Creative Eye Miniatures) complement the season's decor!

Alice Zinn

A large tiny furry Border Collie and white cat by Alice Zinn carry ornaments from their mouths in an effort to help with the decorating..

Janny Wanaar

...while a hand-painted sled and assortment of wrapped gifts made from a kit created by Janny Warnaar adds to the festivities.

The mansion's double staircase in the center hall is the focal point for the decorations in the interior of the home. A large tiny gold-glittered Christmas tree from the private collect of D. In the kitchen, food is being prepared for the extravagant holiday meal. A classic dinner complete with turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce is plated alongside mince meat pies, both by Kim Clough from Fairchild Art Miniatures.
