Queen Mary's Dollhouse
Considered one of the Wonders of the Miniatures World, the Queen Mary's Dollhouse located in Windsor Castle is open to the viewing public and should be on your must-see list. Have a listen to this awesome podcast and interview with a Catherine Jones, Sr. Curator of Decorative Arts and passionate miniaturist enthusiast at Windsor Castle as she takes us through this extraordinary piece.
Dollhouse Art at Norton Museum
The miniatures collection of Lucy Bassett Andrews, from the Basset Furniture family is on view at the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, Florida. "Miss Lucy's 3 Day Dollhouse Party" includes a number of small structures filled with miniature art created by well-known artists including Donald Baechler, Julian Schnabel, Philip Taaffe, among others. The show runs through February 4, 2018.
Tiny Books!
The University of Iowa has embarked on an ambitious project to catalogue over 4,000 miniature books, each under 3" tall, and some which are virtually microscopic!
