We're excited for our very first podcast (link below) with miniaturist Jill Orlov in anticipation of her upcoming show THOSE WERE THE DAYS, a presentation of her new work in the Gallery at D. Thomas Fine Miniatures from May 21 through July 31.

This is the first part of a 3 part podcast series led by guest host and radio personality J.J. Kennedy, in an interview where we get to meet Jill and get to learn a bit more about her background and entry into the world of welding metal, fine art and miniatures.

In this talk we hear about Jill's transition from architecture to furniture design to making miniatures. Her work includes the incorporation of miniatures welded into her full size functional furniture creations.

Miniaturists from across the globe create original artwork expressing personal perspectives on the current issues and controversies facing a world filled with unrest, fear and discord.

This new exhibition is presented by D. Thomas Fine Miniatures and guest curated by Dr. Louise Krasniewicz, Department of Anthropology, University of Pennsylvania. The show begins June 18 and runs through September 15, 2017.
