Miniature Furniture
The auction contains mostly 1/12 scale miniatures from three East Coast USA collector's estates from the 80's and 90's period and includes artisan furniture (including IGMA artisans and fellows) by W.C. Auger, Bob Hurd, Nancy Summer and others.
Oversized Miniatures
There are several artisan "mega miniatures" (oversized and overscaled) pieces in the sale which are highly intricate and detailed and would make awesome additions to a miniatures collection.
Dressed Dolls in All Sizes
Frilly dolls, girly dolls, baby dolls and character dolls as well as popular porcelain and non-porcelain "sitting" dolls from the period. Many unsigned but highly recognizable by collectors.
Paintings, Books and Pottery
Many popular categories in the miniatures world including pottery will be available for sale by artisans like Jane Graber, Carolyn Nygren Curran and Jean Tag (all IGMA artisans), paintings (Margaret Waller) and 1/12 scale and oversized miniatures books.
Rocking Horses, Teddy Bears and Toys
Also included in the auction are many toys (jack in the boxes, rocking horses, pull toys) and teddy bears by Teddy Hermann and Linda's Teddy. Many are unsigned but will delight just as much as signed counterparts.
Southwestern-Themed, Baskets and Other Really Fun Miniatures
We'll have a number of southwestern themed and colorful hand painted miniatures from Mexico in addition to artisan baskets by Jeff Fleming and others. Finally, there are a number of really FUN miniatures to add to your collection like the (signed/unrecognized signature) hand-painted metal washing tubs pictured above.
