BadAss Miniatures Juli Steel Twisted Copper Forest

Artists caused more than a little trouble showcasing their work at the opening of BadAss Miniatures last weekend in the Gallery of Small Arts at D. Thomas Miniatures at YoHo Artist Studios in Yonkers, New York.

Visitors were treated to BadAss Miniatures: tiny art without boundaries. Defiant, quirky, and slightly uncomfortable.

BadAss Miniatures presents emerging perspectives in the miniature arts: an exhibition of original works in the miniature form contributed by artists from across the United States and abroad. The show was co-curated by Darren T. Scala and Kate Ünver founder of dailymini.

BadAss Miniatures opened as part of the 15th Annual YoHo Open Studio and Yonkers Arts Weekend at YoHo Studios, 540-578 Nepperhan Avenue, Studio #566 in Yonkers, NY and is on view through July 22, 2018.

Gallery hours are by appointment Wednesday and Thursday 3-7pm and Saturday 11am-7pm. Hours are subject to change, visitors should call ahead.
