Docent Training at The Hudson River Museum Yonkers, New York!

I was thrilled to be invited to present during docent training at the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers, New York and talk about miniatures and Nyblwyck Hall, the extraordinary 24 room miniature mansion in the museum's permanent collection.

A big thank you to the Hudson River Museum for inviting me in to do what I love to do most, talk about miniatures!

The dollhouse is amazing and if you are ever in the area, it is a MUST SEE. The home, built by Marc O'Banks during the 1990's, took 10 years to complete and is fulled with an eclectic assortment of fine art miniatures, hand made pieces and many other wonderful treasures. There is also a whimsical fantastical story about the Van Nyblwyck family residing in the home.

I've been very fortunate over the years to have the opportunity to celebrate the Fall and Christmas holidays by partnering with talented miniaturists from around the world to decorate the house with seasonal treasures from around the world.

The docents were engaged, interested and ready to spread the word about this amazing structure. Check the Hudson River Museum Website at HRM.org for open times and dates and schedule time for a visit or a tour!
