Extensive Collection of Karen Markland Miniatures: Coming This Fall!

Over the summer I have started to catalogue the largest private collection of miniature works by IGMA Fellow Karen Markland that I have ever handled. It may even be the largest assortment of Markland pieces ever to hit the market at one time!
Collected over many years by a passionate West Coast collector, this extensive assortment represents a lifetime of admiration for one of the miniature world's most beloved artists. As many collectors eventually do, she has reached the point where she is ready to pass these treasures on to new caretakers who will appreciate, display, and enjoy them for years to come.
It is always an honor to help collectors find the next chapter for pieces that have brought them so much happiness. This collection is no exception. Karen Markland's work is instantly recognizable. Her signature style combines beautifully crafted furniture and accessories with whimsical, hand-painted artwork filled with personality, warmth, and imagination. Although we believe Karen is no longer with us, her legacy lives on through the thousands of collectors whose homes continue to display and cherish her work.
