To celebrate the tiny door movement, several tiny doors have been placed along the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail, on a portion of the path located between Cedar Street and West Clinton Avenue (near the iconic Armour Steiner Octagon House) in Dobbs Ferry, New York.

The Old Croton Aqueduct Trail was built in 1837 and is largely responsible for the growth of New York City as it brought fresh water to where it was needed most to help combat disease and fight fires. As such, the trail is designated a state historic park and great place for tiny doors to be discovered.

The design of each door has been inspired by the environment surrounding the historic Hudson River Valley, specifically the River Towns in and around the area just north of New York City which incudes towns like Yonkers, Hastings, Dobbs Ferry and Tarrytown.

There are (6) tiny doors placed along the trail. You're encouraged to find each of them (map above may help!) and post as many photos as you can using the hashtag
#TinyDoorsOfDobbsFerry on your social media channels.

To make things even more exciting, the sleuth who finds ALL 6 doors
and posts using the hashtag #TinyDoorsOfDobbsFerry the most using the hash tags wins a delightful miniature!  The more you post, the greater your chances of wining. One winner will randomly drawn mid-June!
