Excited to share one of several pieces by the iconic IGMA Fellow Nell Corkin, best known for her incredible 1/144 scale works (think dollhouse for a dollhouse) including structures and room boxes as well as many other delightful miniatures from the estate of an east coast dollhouse shop owner. The BIGGEST Little Teddy Bear & Miniature Stuffed Animal Sale

This was the BIGGEST little dollhouse miniature teddy bear and plush stuffed animal sale from the estate of an extensive collector from Brooklyn, New York! Many of the pieces included in this sale were designed by various artists on behalf of brands including World of Miniature Bears, Little Gem Teddy Bears, Barton’s Creek Collection, and others, as well as commercially manufactured brands. There were single items, assortments, sets and multi-piece lots in this sale and a whole lot of fun. Thank you to all who following and re-homed some of these awesome little treasures!

I'm was excited to present this estate sale featuring a large assortment of tiny treasures from Mrs. Zoe Breiner, an extensive collector from the northeast who traveled the country to curate a terrific assortment of fine scale and quality commercial dollhouse miniatures.
Many of the miniatures in this sale were from notable miniature makers including Natasha, Wolf, Valentine, Gutheil, Gooch and many others who only need one name to describe them. The gallery below shows just some of the gems included in this sale of over 200 lots in 10 categories from including furniture, paintings, textiles, sterling silver, room boxes and more meant to inspire enthusiasts to build upon an existing collection or to help kick off a new obsession (ooops...I mean "hobby").

My "Marvelous Miniature Makers" estate sale was filled with work by talented artists including Elizabeth Chambers, Nantasy Fantasy, William Clinger, Teresa Bahl, Judy Beals, Paul Saltarelli, Jane Graber, Deborah McKnight, Uncle Ciggies, Gil Mena, Karen Markland, Joyce Metcalf, and others! This sale also included a large assortment of over a dozen sterling silver dining pieces by the iconic Eugene Kupjack.

Pull up a mini chair and take a miniseat! This sale was filled with DOZENS of miniature chairs: from the unique and eccentric to the traditional; from artisan works to quality-commercial pieces and everything in between (think nostalgic). This was a great chance for enthusiasts to find a new piece to add to their collections, accent or complete a mini room or just because (this is my favorite reason...).

Excited to have presented a lovely selection of glass ware include pieces by Phil Grenyer, well known for his sculpted hand blown designs. The sale included fluted compotes, domed cake stands, apothecary jars, mason jars, tiered serving trays, vases, candy dishes, plates and more.

This was one of my BIGGEST mini estate sales (ever!) filled with a treasure trove of tiny treasures from the estate of west coast collector Yvonne Farley.
Ms. Farley was an active member of the miniatures community during the 1990s and early 2000s before her passing in 2015. She curated an extensive collection of treasures in a broad range of categories, themes and scales which filled her home and fueled her passion for the tiny! I was honored to usher her treasures to new homes where they'll be as cherished and lovingly adored!
This was a large collection with over 350 lots; The sale extended over several weeks and included miniatures from various categories both artisan and quality commercial and manufactured pieces.
GRETA WEINBERGER COLLECTION
The Needle and Eye
Dollhouse Shop
October 2022
93 year old Greta Weinberger ran a dollhouse shop in Potomac, Maryland and in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia throughout the 80's and 90's traveling around the country to assemble an assortment of treasures to delight her customers. This estate sale consisted of items she couldn't part with, once she ceased operations before the new millennium.
I'm was thrilled to share her treasures with the world and to help find new happy homes for them!
Also included in this auction were a limited assortment of tiny objects from the estate of a private collectors including framed hand-painted portraits and landscapes, sculpture, furniture and toys in 1/12 scale.
Tom & Lois Sawtell Collection
Lifetime of Learning and Love
Early Fall/ September 2022
Tom and Lois Sawtell, were a couple from Guilford, Connecticut who were skilled miniaturists in their own right and shared a love and passion for collecting small scale objects.
The pair spent their retirement years taking expert level classes at the famed Guild School in Castine, Maine and at the annual Guild Study Program in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. Many of the pieces which were available in this sale were masterfully designed and prepared for students to build by Guild Artisan and Fellow instructors (and some of the best educators on the planet) including Mark Murphy, Carol Hardy, Sally and George Hoffman, Sue Rountree and others.
I'm was thrilled to have the opportunity to tell their story, share their work and collection and find happy new homes for their adored treasures.
Vintage Artisan Treasures
Summer Sale/ July 2022
This Summer estate sale event included vintage miniatures from a collector who curated a sweet assortment of pieces from the 70's and 80's. Artists represented in this sale included Betty Valentine, Bob & Millie Birkemeier from Studio B Miniatures and Jim & Shirley Hillhouse (stenciled Boston Rocker in photo).

This estate sale presented a limited assortment of twelfth scale miniatures from a collector in Spain. The sale included a mix of pieces by Ron Hubble, John Hodgson, Chris Sparrow, Tere Madievo and others and was held on Sunday, May 15.
MINIATURES ESTATE SALE
Late Winter / February 2022
This sale included about 40 lots of twelfth scale miniatures for sale from estate of a collector in Massachusetts.
The auction included a mix of commercial pieces, unsigned artisan works and several vintage miniatures by the acclaimed miniaturist and IGMA Fellow Roger L Gutheil. Also included were a few roomboxes with "good bones" which made great rehab/starter projects for the enthusiastic miniDIYer.

This biggest LITTLE estate sale included pieces from the Buckalter Collection have now gone to new happy homes in the United States and around the world.
This Buckalter Estate Sale included an EXTRAORDINARY assortment of fine art dollhouse miniatures from the collection of the late Jerry and Claire Buckalter of Suffern, New York. The Buckalter's love for each other is matched by their passion for miniatures, which they collected and crafted together in their retirement from careers in education. Their collection consisted of masterful miniatures in a broad range of categories crafted by some of the most iconic miniaturists in the world, some of whom have been granted the distinction of being an Artisan or Fellow of the International Guild of Miniature Artisans (IGMA.org).
FINE SCALE FURNITURE
A burl wood chest of drawers with 9 dovetailed drawers and George II secretary with slant top pull down desk with multiple drawers and pigeon holes by Neil Bateson and Cabinet with decorative inlays by Geoff Wonnacott. Additional fine furniture artists which were featured in this sale included Michael Walton, John Davenport, Ferd Sobol, Natasha Beshencovsky, R. Gutheil, Nancy Summers, D. Krupick, Linda LaRoche and James Hastrich.
SILVER, SCULPTURE AND DECORATIVE ART
George II Sterling silver epergne with cut glass bowls and Tureen on platter by Pete Acquisto and "Three Graces" in bronze by Randall Zadar were part of the silver and decorative objects featured in the auction. Other fine artists contributing to this category included Judith Dunger, Victor Franco, Jo Parker, Bob Olszewski, Jim Pounder, Janet Bailey, Harry Smith, Jens Thorpe, Mary Grady O'Brien and Mary McGrath.
