This Week in Miniatures

Welcome to the latest WEEkly round up of the latest news and reports from the MiniWorld! (Photo: Adrian Sonderegger & Jojakim Cortis) BadAss Banned! Our latest exhibition caused more than a little trouble this past week when BadAss Miniaturist Kim Clough from @Bizarro_Sculpt posted her work on DeviantArt, the popular art site. The site removed her post just three days later! Additionally, the Green Panda Dispensary by Amanda Kelly from Panda Miniatures has caused one of our followers to un-follow (in dramatic fashion) resulting in a torrent of comments (mostly in support of the show!). Our latest exhibition BadAss Miniatures – Causing a Little Trouble is on view by appointment through Jul

The concept behind History Bones is to bring obscure, forgotten and fascinating bits of history back in memento mori styled dioramas. In Victorian Era London, manufacturers were having no luck in creating a green dye that was colorfast. Carl Scheele created one, based in arsenic, that worked like a charm. The trouble with that was, of course, arsenic is poison. Only considered an "irritant" at the time, no precautions were taken for the employees who handled it all day, every day. The
